Not really a lot I can say about these. You know when you do something and it looks fine, but then you take a picture and it looks like a load of c**p? That happened. Ugh.
I could’ve sworn I’d already uploaded this…? I guess not. Anyway, this is an inverted version of the vintage rose design that pretty much everyone has done. This was waaaay more cute and girly in real life, so naturally I removed it from my nails about 10 minutes after photographing!
Wow, two posts in one day, aren’t you lucky. Anyway, little unoriginal old me decided to have another go at galaxies (the previous attempt can be found here). I think the colour blend was better in this one but I MISS MY LONG NAILS. Okay, that’s all folks.
This is it. I finally have proof that revision turns you insane. Well, not you, me. But anyway, if you understand this reference you’ll know why this is such a weird thing to do. And we should probably get group therapy together. And soon.
This isn’t technically nail art, but I had a go at frankening the other day, and I don’t hate it! It’s more gold irl, and contains some copper hex glitters which didn’t come out in any of the pictures, but I like how the blue glitter came out in this one.
I still need to name it - combining the names would make it Electric Gold Punch!
Something quick and simple, couple of ladybirds and their leaves. Hmm, is it ladybird or ladybug? I never know which one to call it…

nails-love asked: nice blog and nails girl, what a good idea putting that name haha

haha thank you! tbh I thought it was kinda stupid but I’m really bad at thinking up things like this, so you know, it works

Yay, Ellie finally does her nails after nearly a whole week without painting them. Anyway, these were inspired by the pattern on a t-shirt that I found on the Topshop website and I quite like the design, even if the execution wasn’t all that great.
Wow, I really don’t know how I come up with such original ideas(!)
But anyway, I couldn’t think of what to put on top of the ombre I did, so leopard is one of my defaults.
Bleugh. I’ve been feeling so uninspired recently, so I’m sticking with plain simple flowers. And now I’m sad, because my nails kept breaking so I filed them into squares and they’re too short and I hate them. It’s not like they were long before, but this kind of length is unbearable for me. so like I said, bleugh.
First experiment with studs, and an introduction to the Stair mani! What started off as a failed version of Nailside’s Cloud mani turned into one that looked a little like stairs, hence the name. Also, not sure I’m liking the studs. About 20 minutes after I put them on, they got my hand trapped in the dishwasher :( probably not going to repeat that experience again.
I wasn’t going to upload this, as it is really simple, but I really loved the colour combination, so I thought I’d share it!
oops, haven’t updated in a while. I don’t like the Easter nails that I did on myself, so have a picture of the set I painted for my sister. Happy Easter everyone! Also, partially inspired by Fist Full of Polish.
I was inspired by Candice’s colour combination and I wanted to have another go at this design again using those colours. Could have been neater, but yeah.
